Karen Kabbara

Karen Kabbara is the 4th Grade homeroom teacher. Karen holds a bachelor of science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and a Master’s of Education from Framingham State University. Karen has taught for 7 years at IB schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has PYP (Primary Years Program) certifications in inquiry and concept based learning. The IB PYP program offers an inquiry based, student centered approach that builds the learners’ conceptual understanding. Karen is passionate about health sciences and enjoys developing science based projects that are engaging for her students. In her free time, Karen enjoys exercising at the local YMCA and spending quality time with her family.
