• Al-Hamra Academy

    Al-Hamra Academy is the first full-time accredited Islamic school in New England. Our goal is to raise children with strong intellectual and moral background. We strive to provide an environment that encourages the cognitive, spiritual, moral, emotional and physical growth of every student.

    We have a well-defined, effective and evolving curriculum that follows the Massachusetts State Frameworks. We foster spiritual and moral growth in a progressive Islamic environment - an environment that instills in our students the universal values of love, compassion, peace, tolerance, equality, and justice.

  • Winners of the Champions Award

    Ma'ash Allah, the students of Al-Hamra's robotics team came away big winners at the Shrewsbury Qualifying Tournament today, held at the Oak Middle School.

    The RoboTrekkers a.k.a. "Woodchucks" were ranked 3rd after the days time trials. During the elimination rounds, the Woodchucks made it to the quarter finals when they were taken down by a faulty attachment and a competitive opponent from Sharon MA.

    When the presentations were over, the judging complete and all but 1 of the awards given out, The Woodchucks, Ma'ash Allah, were honored with the most prestigious award of the day, the "Champions Award". This award recognizes a team that embodies the FLL experience, by fully embracing the Core Values while achieving excellence and innovation in both the Robot Game and the Project.
